HEMP / CANNABIS 25,000 DIFFERENT USES 07 – Hemp Plastic

HEMP / CANNABIS 25,000 DIFFERENT USES 07 – Hemp Plastic

Petroleum is currently our main source of cellulose for plastic’s basic components.

Hemp – a non-psychoactive variety of cannabis grown for diverse Industrial purposes.

Did you know HEMP is the most concentrated producer of cellulose that we can grow and alongside all the plants other gifts it gives us, does this amazing plant stop giving?  Definitely nature’s answer to a lot of our dilemma’s.

Hemp plastics are non-toxic, pesticide free, recyclable and biodegradable within 6 months yes 6 months how amazing is that!!!

Hemp plastics are lighter and stronger but it does have a long time to go until we replace petroleum plastics fully with hemp.  Why well cost is the major factor until it becomes more mainstream it is highly priced, but we also have to change the minds of big business corporations who make a lot of money using the current petroleum based system, even though it is unsustainable for our planet, our animals & us.

It takes 500 – 1000 years for petroleum plastics to degrade!!!

So until hemp / cannabis is legal and in fact normalised worldwide our planet will continue to suffer (unnecessarly) and that is why we as consumers MUST be wise in our spending habits (that is where are powers lie and when used in unison it is an unstoppable superpower) and refuse to shop with a company until that companies products & packaging are sustainable, or as we do, they should be made to pay extra taxes for not being a eco friendly sustainable entity, they can no longer harm rape pilliage the earth for their maximum profit and not give back.

Plastic pollution is devastating our planet.  Recently researchers from the University of Tasmania and the UKs Royal society for the protection of Birds found 38 MILLION PIECES OF PLASTIC WASTE on Henderson Island , an uninhabited coral island in the south pacific and the oceans are in a very similar state.

Hemp cellulose can be extracted and can be made into cellophane, rayon, celluloid and a range of plastic’s.  Although 100% hemp plastics are rare some plastics are currently made from a combination of hemp and other plant sources are already in use.

Due to its strength and rigidity hemp plastic can be used in the construction of cars, planes, boats and even musical instruments.  You can also mould hemp plastics for electronics, containers, toys, cosmetics, bottles, bags and furniture.

Although hemp is not the answer to all of the world’s problems it is a good place to start for a sustainable friendly planet, mind & body!!!

More photo’s of what hemp can do a HEMP PLANE!!!!  Wow…

All I know is that in any situation whatever we are using hemp for hemp enriches our environment in every way and us.

I believe we need to NORMALISE the use of HEMP /CANNABIS products in all forms and we need to spend our money wisely, we have super powers we must use them for all our good.

Happy Being Healthy
